Plumbing Sebastopol- Plumbing Systems, Which Are Directly or Indirectly

Doing your own plumbing system can save a lot of money and simple plumbing jobs do not require much knowledge and skills. A beginner should be able to cope with a job as simple as replacing a washer or tap the pool plumbing, and the average handyman should be able to tackle more complex jobs as a plumber and a separate shower. But you should think twice before groped to solve a very complex work. I work in the HVAC system can be a dirty business - especially if you raise the floor boards or work in a dusty attic, and can be very stressful.

There are two main parts of a plumbing system of the house - a system of water supply and drainage system. The water supply system is a set of pipes and fittings carrying water for baths, sinks, and toilets and so on. Waste is another set of pipes that lead away from the wastewater drains and sewers. In an old house or with many plumbing fittings, piping may seem confusing, but basically plumbing systems is very simple. Before the work of starlings on your plumbing system, to follow all the tubes carefully so that you know where each pipe leads and what it does.

Water supply

Hydraulic system basically starts domestic water supply to the company (either water authority or company) with a tap. This is usually located outside the boundary of the real estate of approximately 750 mm from the ground beneath a metal door, probably the sidewalk. Companies need more water stop cocks special wrench to turn them on and off. Tap controls the flow of water between the water in the main water entry and the provision of household water. The pipe that carries water to the faucet in the house known as the service pipe, and the responsibility to keep the house belongs to the owner. Before 1939, the branch pipes were usually made of lead or steel, are now often made of copper or polyethylene. Many of the company taps pipes slope slightly toward the high water at home, but will always be at least 750 mm below ground level.

There are two basic systems to be moving upwards in the water around the house the main places where you wanted it to be direct and indirect.

In piping systems indirect indirect system, the main purpose of the increase primarily to feed water to a cold water tank (often mistakenly referred to as deposit) that is normally found in the attic. Most faucets and other plumbing fixtures in the house will draw water from this reservoir, which remains the band to cut through a ball valve. However, at least one tap usually the knees of cold water in the kitchen should be fed directly from the expansion card to provide drinking water.

According to local water regulations, one, two or more accessories can be made directly access the main - one for a spin out of water and one for cold water for dish washing machine or dishwasher, for example. Another link can be made for an electric shower.

Most systems have two indirect plumbing pipes (often called an extraction tube) under water in the tank. Tube feeding and cold water taps in washrooms and other rooms where there are swimming pools. The others are feeding a water heater where water is stored and heated by a boiler or an electric heater. Tank of cold water pipes may have additional pull-off for certain types of bidet or shower, or take tube connections more convenient.

Derive their hot water taps water pipe connected to the top of the boiler - once again, bidet and shower facilities can have them in specific contexts. Hot water heater is a tube that leads back more than the cold water tank to provide the security hole, so that the air bubbles and steam to escape.

You can do the work on the HVAC system, or to stop the leak or rupture, in different parts of the system must be isolated and drained of water. In theory, only a system of valves or valve is really necessary. This is as close as possible to the point where the main service pipe enters the house, so that the whole house can be isolated from the water. Two drain valves are needed - one above the main valve to drain the increase of the main branch and all the pipes connected to it and others as low as possible to power the hot water tank to drain into the cylinder. Supply pipes of hot and cold taps connected to the water tank and cold water in the tank water itself can be cleared by turning the taps. But that does not drain the water heater.

In practice, saving the need to drain the entire system each time the repairs are made, it is better to include more stopvalves, so that in some parts of the HVAC system can be isolated from the rest. This usually means having valves for each draw-off from a well. It can be mounted on a small difference between the valves just prior to every touch, or equipment. There should be a valve in the outlet pipe from the boiler.

Plumbing direct

In a direct plumbing system, all the cold taps and so on are powered directly through the riser. If hot water is heated by a stock or hot water (rather than hot water) that would normally be powered by a tank of cold water often small on top of the cylinder.

Which system is best?

An indirect plumbing system has three main advantages. First, and perhaps most important, because most of the sector system is isolated by water from the tank is less likely to develop in the sector (this is called a trap) so there is less risk of contamination of the supply water. Second, the system operates at a constant water pressure if you have to worry about variations in water pressure - this is particularly important in certain types of shower pressure is approximately equal to the hot and cold water. Finally, the tank provides a reservoir of water if the network fails.

A plumbing system is a little less direct complicated and can be less expensive to install than an indirect effect. But some of the accessories used are specially constructed to reduce the risk of contamination of food.

Type of system is allowed to be decided at the local water supply company. Last option is, non-vented hot water system. Here in the cold supply to the house is located directly above the system, but the (special), hot water is also fed directly to the main rise. Unvented hot water system is properly installed and maintained, but has several advantages over traditional systems.

Once inside the house, the tube (now called the main growing) can be protected from freezing by running along the inside wall. Houses with suspended floors may be necessary to give an additional pipe freeze protection.
